Hi thunderbird Team,

I have configured my email Id in thunderbird (laptop).. after the configuration I have received my all inbox mail (old indox mail) but I didn't receive my old sent item why??

and it will show only the mail which I have sent from Thunderbird only. if i have sent mail from browser then it won't display in Thunderbird sent mail why?. Can you give any suggestions on this it will be helpful. Thank you.

If you have configered to use POP then you can only get access to server Inbox. This is not a thunderbird quirk, it is how all pop mail accounts work.

Either: Logon to webmail move all sent items into Inbox

InThunderbird click on 'Get Messages' Move them into 'Sent' folder. If there is no 'Sent' folder, then it is because you have not sent any emails. Send email to your self to get a 'Sent' folder.

Other option: Create another new existing mail account and configure as Imap. Menu icon > New Message > Existing mail account

If you have set up an imap account, perhaps you need to subscribe to see other folders on server. right clickon imap mail account in fodlerPane and click on 'Subscribe' select folders and click on Subscribe button click on OK
