Hi,

I'm using a third party application to send quotes from. Thunderbird is our default mail application. Problem we have is, when we click the button to send the quote, Thunderbird opens but the main window opens at the same time as the compose mail window, and they both behind the open programs.

Is there anyway of stopping the main thunderbird window opening, so the compose email window just opens (on top) so we can click send and the quotation program is back in front of us and thunderbird sends email in background.

I have enabled newsmail.sendinbackground but this doesn't fully help.

Any help would be massively appreciated.

Sam.

I’ve found a way to stop the main window opening, you need to start the program and install the extension “MinimizeToTray”. Once it’s minimised to tray, when creating or replying to an email it only brings the compose page up, but the problem I have now is it sends the window to the back rather than the front.

Any help?
