What is the black robot icon for, in Firefox for Android?
At the top of Firefox for Android, I see several things in a row.
Control Center (padlock icon) Address bar Sometimes, an "Add to home screen" icon Sometimes, a black icon of the head of the Android robot Tab list or Tab button (numbers in a square) Menu (three vertical dots)
What is the black robot icon for? What is it called? Where is it documented? Thank you.

When there is an associated native app that handles the page installed on your device the icon will be shown. For example if you are viewing an image or video the tapping the icon will open the native app to display images/video. In other cases it will switch you to the native app. For example if you navigate Wikipedia in Firefox and have the Wikipedia app installed taping the android icon will take you to to the Wikipedia app with the address you were viewing. The same is true of YouTube.

Here's a screen shot of the black, half-height android_robot head icon: [[Open links with an app|https://prod-cdn.sumo.mozilla.net/uploads/images/2013-11-13-17-46-09-826a39.png]] (Posted by kbrosnan. Small world!) Thank you for explaining it.
