My program downloads old messages from the IMAP server as new. Sometimes the messages disappear and after restarting they are downloaded anew.
Hello, dear forum users. From time to time, when synchronizing with the IMAP server, messages from 3 years ago are downloaded as new messages. My WP.PL mail service provider thinks this is the fault of the Thunderbird mail client. It also often happens that after running thunderbird, the folder of received messages or some other synchronized subfolders disappears. It helps to close and restart Thunderbird. I use the default settings in the program and I don't know what I can change so that these problems don't return. I use version 60.5.1 (64bit) on Linux Ubuntu Xenial.

I am surprised that nobody has encountered such a problem using thunderbird. Maybe this error can occur only on my version and Linux distribution.
