The ConfirmBeforeDelete add-on has a setting to enable/disable the dialog, but I find it doesn't work with the latest version of the add-on in 68.5.

Even though it was last updated today, it doesn't work with 68.4.1 on Linuxmint 19. Thanks for bringing this add-on to my attention. Maybe it will get sorted out soon and my problem will be completely solved.
