Hello, I would like to know how can I cancel auto-downloading or make Firefox ask me before it starts downloading. When I enter some websites then it starts downloading before I do anything and everytime I have to check and cancel it myself.

Hi

Most of the time that a download is triggered, it is by the user intending to download a file. It would be good to understand an example or two of websites where downloads are starting automatically to better understand what you are seeing.
