I'm trying to delete 2 accounts I dont' use anymore (already removed by the provider) from Thunderbird 78.3.2 (localized Italian version). I've already removed all the messages from/to those accounts. In menu/account I select the account I want to delete, then "account actions" and "remove account". I close TB and I delete the account folders from appdata roaming Thunderbird profiles (no such folders in "local").

BUT, when I start TB again, the accounts are there again.

I also downgraded from a 80 beta version, thinking it was a beta "bug".

Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

Quit Tbird, open your prefs.js file and delete ALL references to those accounts, save the file and relaunch Tbird.
