How do I get thunderbird to fetch messages on start up. I have set Thunderbird to start when Windows 10 starts but Thunderbird does not download messages automatically. I have checked the box on server settings for each email account to start automatically . I can download messages manually.

Does it happen if TB is started manually, not automatically at Windows startup? There are some bugs with startup checking that may be relevant:
