I think it's cause the content is dynamically generated maybe but it works fine in chrome? I can't save as from the mp3 player either although it plays fine so obviously it's able to get the file? Any fix for this bs?

You can use the Web Console or the Network Monitor to get the URL of the media file and possibly open the file in a tab and save the file that way. The first page opens MP3 files. The second link opens a M4A file.
