I found an article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-open-tabs-firefox but I don't see the open tabs icon even when I open many tabs and have more than one Firefox window with tabs. I find this feature in Chrome very helpful and was hoping Firefox would have something comparable or better.

You can set browser.tabs.tabmanager.enabled = true on the about:config page to have the "List all tabs" button permanently visible at the right end of the Tab bar.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
