Time taken to activate Thunderbird after switching on [3minutes]?
When I click on Thunderbird it takes around three minutes to become active! Why? and can it be speeded up?

Just a thought: you might set accounts to not open new messages on startup. Then shut TB down and restart. If it starts normally, that could be a sign that your account is slow to access, not a TB issue. Something is keeping TB from fully starting and that's my guess.
