Emails disapeared after the lastest upgrade

I just installed the latest update to Thunderbird 102.3.3. Those were the numbers on the set up file. Now it looks like all the email contents of emails that I have opened are gone. The screen in blank when I press on the subject once I'm in a folder. In some cases the folder is empty even though I have not yet read these messeges.

I may have found a fix or what the problem was. I closed Thunderbird and then restarted it and so far the folders I've now been opening have my emails.

I'll check through all the folders, but I think the issue was the program needed to be closed after it first opened from the update install, and then restarted again.
