your data is stored on the local PC harddisk. Did you make a backup before you "reset" it?

Did not make a backup, I had a blue screen and could not do anything with it. Was able to do reset that said personal files would be saved but any programs would have to be reinstalled. How do I find Thunderbird addresses and folders on my harddisk?
