problem with clearing cookies and site data cpu firefox.exe rises to 60% and the browser itself starts to blunt and hang the whole process takes 15 minutes

also the question is why there is no setting where data that is more than a year itself is not deleted?

With regard to the first issue, it may help to clear unwanted data more often. I use Clear recent history (ctl+shft+del) at the end of each day to clear unwanted data.
