All of the files I try to download fail immediately. Even extensions will not download on firefox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked the download location. Downloads work on other browsers such as Chrome fine but nothing will download on Firefox.

What security software do you have? I think that ESET has been reported to cause such issues.

Im not too sure what you mean, but all I have on my computer is Windows Defender Antivirus.

Do downloads also fail with Developer Edition?

Boot the computer into Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.
