Simply reporting an error.

more options

I don't expect a reply. I'm simply reporting what I believe to be an error.

I found an Email in my Junk folder that was a billing notice from one of my utility companies. I right clicked on the Email and selected Mark as Not Junk. The message was instantly deleted EVERWHERE. It is not in any folder. I then tried searching for the sender (customerservice@...). The sender's address was instantly found by the search tool, but it stated that NO MESSAGE existed from that sender.

I don't think that marking an Email as Not Junk should completely erase the message from Thunderbird. Rather, I think it should be placed back in the Inbox folder or perhaps the Deleted folder.

I'm using Thunderbird 128.5.2esr (64-bit).

Hi,

The normal behavior seems to be to move the message to the inbox. That's what happens in my installation. If the message did not go to the inbox, you can file a bug report here:
