Running Firefox version 3.6.3, and this browser is blocking my accessing Google.com. AOL/Yahoo and Msn.com I can log on to, but every time I try to go to Google.com I get Google.co.uk very annoying, and it is limiting my web searches.

URL of affected sites

https://GOOGLE.COM

Google detects which country you are in, then redirects you to the domain for that country. (Not a Firefox thing. :-) )

There should be a link on Google.co.uk that says "Go to Google.com". Click on that.

Sorry No link to Google.com, just a plain old basic page, there is an advance search option, but one should be able to switch between the world web and one's home country very easily. Was able to a few weeks ago???????????

The exact URL I am being directed to is google.co.uk. It is happening with HTTP. when I use HTTPS the google.com site works fine.
