There is the sound of a siren running in the background. I have tried shutting done Firefox and then the computer but as soon as I open Firefox it comes back,. I installed a new version of Firefox and it still is there every time I connect to Firefox. Help!

We were able to resolve the issue by disabling the "Cool Preview" add-in. Mac OSX 10.4
Horrible siren sounds
Yes, I got it. By disabling the "Cool Preview" add-in, it's gone ! Anyone could tell me what happened ?
go to the Cool Previews site and download the latest version. They were aware of the siren problem and this latest version fixes the problem. The siren will go away after downloading and restarting fox
