I have firefox 3.6.8, When I launch www.theweatheroffice.com; the webpage news6alerts.com/secondchance get loaded. How can I stop this?

I have been using www.theweatheroffice.com sit for many years to get weather reports in Canada for may years. Lately, when I try to go to this site, I am hijacked to the site, news6alerts.com/secondchance. I can not access the weatheroffice site. This happens every time I try.

The site that you originally knew appears to no longer exist, I was re-directed to the same site.

I did some checking on who owns the domain, and found that www.theweatheroffice.com appeared to changed ownership recently. What may have happened is the organization that originally owned the domain name did not renew their registration and somebody else took it over. The organization that took it over also appears to be offering it for sale.
