jqs is the Java Quick Starter. If you disable it the issue should be resolved. For details of how to do that see http://www.java.com/en/download/help/quickstarter.xml

Also check Firefox add-ons and disable the Java QuickStart add-on. In the menu select Tools, then Add-ons to open the add-ons manager. Go to the Extensions panel, click on the Java QuickStart add-on to select it, then click on the Disable button.

I tried following these instructions, but it turns out that Java Quick Start is not enabled on my computer. I don't have the Java Quick Start add-on in Firefox either.

What else can be causing this?
