I'm running the latest firefox mobile beta on my Droid 2 (Android 2.2), and, while it has improved drastically from the previous versions, it still runs very slow and cannot be used for extended periods of time without crashing and forcing my phone to restart.

Thanks for the report. We're working on improving the stability of Firefox for Android, but there are still some known problems especially on the Motorola Droid family of phones. We don't have a complete solution ready for this. I hope a future version will fix this problem.
