How do I ensure a new tab opens at www.google.co.uk/ please? Surely should be under Tools/Options/Tabs
On opening Firefox I get GoogleUK. Fine. But when I open a new tab I was getting an AVG search page which I didn't want. I've deleted the irritating AVG search option. But I can't see how to get Google as the default page for each new tab.

You can do that by using an add-on such as NewTabURL or New Tab Homepage.
