The "crash Reporting" check box won't remain checked as "off"

I read a solution about editing the application.ini file, but it didn't change the check box.

P.S. It is really annoying to have to register to ask one question.

This can be a problem with the file crashreporter.ini

What is the setting of SubmitReport in that file?

  • SubmitReport=0 will turn off submitting crash reports

If changing that setting to 0 doesn't keep then make sure that security software isn't protecting that .ini file.
