After updating FF4.1 it tries to check compatibility with my addons and stops responding.

I updated firefox to 4.1 and before you can use it, it is programmed to check the compatibility of my addons. When it starts checking the program goes not responding. I can force close it, but then I am unable to open firefox at all. I restarted my computer and nothing changed. I uninstalled and installed firefox and the same thing happened.

I had to completely delete firefox, meaning bookmarks, saved passwords and plugins. I reinstalled and it works, now to find everything i had bookmarked again... sigh.
