how do I add a site into the exceptions option in saved passwords?
I've checked the "remember passwords for sires" box, and when I click the "exceptions" button to add a site, I am unable to add a site.

Sites are added to the Exceptions list when Firefox asks if you want to save the password and you answer Never. There isn't a way of adding a website to that list manually.
