The option "Manage bookmarks" is no longer in the dropdown menu. So how do I import my backed up bookmarks from the file on my desk ?

How is it now possible to import bookmarks from the file bookmarks-2011-06-26.json ?

I just installed Ubuntu 11.4 to a new eee pc & now I want to restore my bookmarks.

The name keeps changing. Try

orange Firefox button > Bookmarks or
Bookmarks menu > Show All Bookmarks

The third menu on the bar after the back and forward buttons should let you restore the backup.
