from firefox 3.6.16 I can't update to either Firefox 4 or 5.

When I try to go Version 3.6 to firefox version 4 or 5, I receive this error message: XML Parsing Error: undefined entity Location: jar:file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Ws_05/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/bhuzffn5.default/extensions/speedtest@gotomyhelp.com/chrome/speedtest.jar!/content/netError.xhtml

It looks like one of your extensions (speedtest) is not compatible with the latest version. You can start Firefox with add-ons disabled by holding the Shift key while you start Firefox. For more info, see Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

From that point, go to the Add-ons manager and uninstall speedtest. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
