I don't want the color of the text and urls to be the same when I return to the same results page, after I visit the website that I clicked on. I prefer red, but it could be another color. Thanks, Joe.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.

To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history

  • Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
