How do I disable the grouping of e-mails into a conversation?

I was told that "this e-mail is part of a conversation," and it could be linked with others on the same topic/ from the same people. Then I tried to forward an old e-mail to a friend which had an attachment, but the attachment did not go through. I'd like to go back to the old way, but I don't see any signs for disablement.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
