I am unable to bookmark sites. I click on the star and it ask a bunch of questions, plus I have no idea where the bookmark goes or how to put them into a personal folder.
When trying to bookmark a site, I click on the star and I get a bunch of questions I don't know how to answer like "Location," "Feed," etc. Also, I can't figure out how to create a personal bookmark folder and put things into there.

Does the issue still occur if you start Firefox in Safe Mode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
I have no idea. I just upgraded and haven't tried that.
Please try Safe Mode and post back with your results. A screenshot showing the dialog could also be helpful.
Have you tried bookmarking the web page via the right click context menu?
