Using Firefox 12 with Windows 7, after logging into Gmail the text/icons do not display on buttons

Very strange.

Installed Firefox 12 on my wife's new Windows 7 laptop.

She checked her Gmail account.

She is not able to click on any of the check boxes.

Most of the buttons are blank - it doesn't matter whether they are set to display icons or text.

If I hover over a button, a balloon will appear telling me what the button does.

Have the same problem with Chrome.

Do not have the problem with IE9

She does not have the problem with Firefox 12 running on her old Windows XP laptop.

Very strange. Installed Firefox 12 on my wife's new Windows 7 laptop. She checked her Gmail account. She is not able to click on any of the check boxes.
