I no longer can find the Download Helper Icon on my toolbar. I am running Firefox version 4.0.1 on Windows XP and I have the add-on installed.
I am running Firefox version 4.0.1 on WIndows XP Professional. I no longer can find the Download Helper Icon, even though I have the Add-on installed and have tried to customize my toolbar. I can't bring the icon back...please help.

You can check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Toolbar+keeps+resetting
Open the Customize window to see if the button is on a toolbar or in the toolbar palette.
- View > Toolbars > Customize
- Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout
- If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
- If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up
