Foxfire installed on my computer seems to be version 14 instead of version 4, I wonder if somehow I got a version for an iphone or mobile device. Enlighten me.
I was alerted to the fact the my Iconix add-on is working on my Windows Explorer, but not on my Firefox browser, which depends on the Explorer. Both programs are on my laptop in Windows XP operating system. When I go to the Foxfire menu button "Help" and then to "About Firefox" to get the version, the logo indicates 14.0.1. When I search for the latest version of Firefox on google search, the searches turn up version 4 as the latest version, and the Iconix website indicates no problems for Firefox up through version 4. So how did I get to version 14 so quickly, unless it was meant for a different device than my laptop?

Firefox 14 is the current version for both Windows and Android. I have no idea why Google is reporting Firefox 4 is the current version.
Firefox does not depend on Internet Explorer; they have distinct add-ons.
I haven't tried the Iconix software. Their website lists compatibility with Firefox 3.5 and 3.6, but I don't see information about newer versions of Firefox.
Firefox 14.0.1 (fourteen) is the latest release of Firefox (released on July 17, 2012) and can be found at Mozilla's website at www.mozilla.org for both desktop (Windows, Mac OSX and Linux) and mobile Firefox for Android.
Firefox 4.0 is old as it was released back on March 22nd, 2011.
Firefox does not depend on the Internet Explorer as it can even run completely off a flash drive for example to show it is not hooked or added on anything. The Addons on IE and Extensions in Firefox are completely different things.
