Inside any extension or theme is a file called chrome.manifest that lists the subdirectories in the archive. You should not get rid of those files.

Thank you finitarry. I wont touch it as you requested. I have been doing research and trying to understand about Manifest but I am very confusing because some say it is dangerous to your computer and some say dont remove it. Do you mind to explain what is MANIFEST? Is it virus or malware or what it is??? What does Manifest do??? Please explain in English clearly. I am basic, not expert experience with Vista. Thank you.

An Install Manifest is the file used to provide information about a Firefox addon (extension, plugin, component, ..) while it is being installed. The file contains data to identifying the addon, providing information about who created it etc.

Chrome is the set of user interface elements of the application window that are outside window's content area. Toolbars, menu bars, progress bars, and window title bars are all examples of elements that are typically part of the chrome.

Mozilla locates and reads the root chrome.manifest file for extensions and themes.

A manifest is basically a list of items. I do not see how something like that could do any harm.
