I want to disable it because let's be honest I search some dirty sites and I don't want anyone seeing this and having to remove these suggestions is getting really annoying. I'm afraid one day I'll forget to remove them and be caught for the perv I am and please, if any mods are answering don't answer with a copy paste solution that never makes any sense.

hello, please refer to Customize your Firefox New Tab page in order to switch the feature off. however then these site will still show up in your browser history...

You will always see recently visited pages in the slots on the about:newtab page.

You can drag an URL on all nine slots on the about:newtab page to prevent other pages from showing there.
