How do I remove the massive OSD on fullscreen?
For example, after clicking fullscreen on a YouTube video, a large, unsubtle OSD with the following text appears:
youtube.com is now fullscreen. Press ESC at any time to exit fullscreen.
This is okay the first time a site goes fullscreen because Firefox needs to ask for permission for it to stay fullscreen. But such a HUGE OSD is not acceptable after permission has been granted.
I wouldn't be so bothered by a very subtle OSD, but really I want to remove it completely. I'm guessing that the answer to this question involves changing a key in about:config.

Does updating from getfirefox.com work?
Before You go I warn You that this has been there for a security reason (e.g. malicious site can try to "spoof" fake interface outside Fx window and such).
You can toggle preference "full-screen-api.approval-required" to "false". (type about:config in urlbar).
This equals "allow by default and don't bother me" global option ;) It disables all "entering fullscreen" notifications, including first ones with "allow" / "deny" buttons.
In case You already denied a site (and checked remember) it will take effect and You won't even know if site (flash / video tag) tried to enter fullscreen. You can check/change site permissions trough "view page info > permissions" tab.
