Firefox starts and keeps taking me to ebay and not letting me put in what I want to seach for or go to a specific site.
Firefox just updated itself on my Mac Every time I start firefox it keeps going to ebay and bring ebay up Ebay is somehow filled in in the seach bar It is not letting me put in what I want to seach for How do I clear out the search bar so when it starts its blank again like it used to be?

Starting in Firefox 23, the address bar search service is tied to your search bar search service. This prevents hijacking by third party software, but some users prefer to use different services for each bar. If you want to do that, there is an add-on:

Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category
Is this the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar or a search bar on the eBay web page?
You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
