Reinstalled windows on same device, I'd like my old device name and profile back (instead of another device to sync)

I've just gone through having to reinstall windows due to 24H2 and I've got Firefox back thankfully.

My problem is that the sync account has created another device name (as I hadn't restarted after renaming the computer).

Can I get my old device profile back and discard the new one?

Can I just uninstall firefox then reinstall now the computer has been renamed after a restart?
