In the last 30 days I have had approx 100 crashes - error says Adobe Flash has crashed. I've tried everything I can find online. Uninstall, reinstall, check updates. Not sure what else to do as I'm not exactly a computer genius. Would appreciate any help as this is really slowing down my work day with the constant "freezing" on my screens.

Thank you for your system information. I was a little alarmed to see Trovi among your home pages. It usually indicates a malware infection. Does that keep coming back? Not sure if it has any relation to the Flash problem, but... we may be able to help with that, too.

If you haven't already, you may want to disable the protected mode feature of the Flash plugin. It has security benefits, but is not compatible with all systems for some reason. You can do this by creating or editing a settings file.

The following pages/posts provide different approaches for that:

You may need to exit and start Firefox up again before this takes effect.

Any improvement?

Thank you for your response, As I am not very computer savy I'm afraid I didn't understand a lot of what the articles offered. Your mention of the evil sounding Trovi frightened me so I uninstalled flash, cleaned out my computer, ran a scan and everything seems to be okay. I search my computer for Trovi and found www.trovi.com but cannot seem to delete it...however it doesn't appear anywhere that I can see. I just reinstalled adobe flash and I'm hoping for the best. Thanks! Pmorgan

Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
