I've used Firefox for a long time, and I'm well acquainted with going to "Options" and customizing my home page to open each time I open FF or even a new tab. But lately I keep getting an annoying page that says in the upper right-corner "what's this page?" What's more, the search engine provided on this page doesn't even work--when I click search, nothing happens. I have to click on the home button to get my home page every time. Annoying. Any suggestions or fixes for this problem?

As the "What's this page?" dialogue explains (when you click the words) this is the new "Tiles" page. It contains recently used web pages, along with some "Sponsored" links from time to time (these are clearly identified).

If you don't want tiles, or want to simply have a "blank" tab, simply click the 'gear' icon right next to the words (top right corner) and change your preferences there.

Hope this helps.
