ADDRESS DON'T SHOW UP WHEN TRYING TO FORWARD EMAIL

WHEN I AM FORWARDING MAIL, MY ADDRESS BOOK ALWAYS SHOWS UP ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SCREEN. NOW FOR SOME REASON IT DOESN'T. HELP PLEASE??

Did you do this in the compose window, that is, the one you use to write or when replying or forwarding?

It's also available under View|Contacts Sidebar, again in the Compose window only.

sorry to be so thick headed, i was in the compose window, clicked on f9, nothing happened..
