It is possible to try to reload the ico file for those tabs with this addon:

Also check the about:config page:

  • browser.chrome.favicons from false to true

However if you still have issues, please see the post here for information about the user.js file and how it might affect the icons.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the steps did not work. I downloaded the faviconloader with no improvement. Oddly, when I change the browser.chrome.favicons value from false to true and then restart FF, it resets itself back to false. Any additional help would be appreciated. Thx.

Do you see this favicon on the tab if you the bookmark in that tab?

Do the URL in the location/address bar and in the location field of the bookmark match?

You can try to delete the bookmark and create a new bookmark.
