I can read mewsgroups' postings but cannnot do postings. why?
I like Mozilla Thunderbird newsreader format. where replies to particular posting are bunched together, It makes follow ups easy. My main grouse is that why am I unable to do any posting to selected newsgroup's articles, ex: soc.culture. Singapore.
I can send and received emails on Thunderbird and read postings in various newsgroups. I just cannot do any postings of my own.
Please help.

To avoid spam postings, many news server providers require that users request posting privileges, perhaps by contacting the support department of your service provider.
