emails being down loaded more than once
I have many emails and not the same ones download many times some times a month later I read and delete or keep for later and then a few days later it turns up again some time more than once there doesn't seem to be any pattern to which ones just random.

At this point it is hard to determine whether those emails are being downloaded again or whether the deleted ones are reappearing. I'm presuming this is occuring with emails in the Inbox folder.
First lets tackle the issue of emails potentially 'reappearing'. Move all good emails out of Inbox into other suitable folders. Delete everything you do not want.
Then right click on 'Deleted' folder and select : Empty Deleted Then right click on Junk folder and select : Empty Junk Then right click on Junk folder and select : Compact
When Inbox is empty, right click on Inbox folder and select : Compact
Compacting will remove alll traces of hidden 'marked as deleted' emails.
