When I open Thunderbird it shows downloading 1 of 27 messages, but only downloads the 1st one and doesn't download the other 26. I mark it as junk and delete it from the junk folder. I then hit the Get Messages button and the same thing happens again with the same message that was deleted before downloads and other 26 messages are unable to download. How can I get rid of this e-mail and download the rest of my e-mails?

Yes, it's a POP account. Thanks for your interest in helping me. FYI and in case this happens to someone else, I was able to get rid of the email (from Pizza Hut) that was caught in the loop by logging in to my ISP website (CenturyLink). (I normally log on to Thunderbird by clicking the icon in the taskbar.) From there I opened my accounts web page and was able to download all 284 emails including the Pizza Hut email. I deleted it and every thing works great now. Thanks again!
