I got rid of by mistake, and can't restore the editing toolbar which allows me to add a horizontal line, or indent a paragraph etc. Please help.
In Thunderbird I want to add a horizontal line under a paragraph, and the menu bar for this (and other editing tools) has always been there. Somehow I got rid of that toolbar by mistake. None of your toolbar suggestions helps me to get it back.
Please help me retrieve this toolbar.

Press the alt key if the Menu Bar is not showing. From the menu bar select View-Toolbars and turn it back on.
FYI: If you are composing a plain text message vs a HTML message there is no formatting toolbar.
