firefox won't install on Windows 8

Hi All

I had the problem where my firefox wouldn't show any web sites.

So I uninstalled and downloaded the latest version (Not the stub... the one from the multi region list) I saved the file. When I go to downloads and click it it does nothing. When I click and say "Run as administrator" It says "Do you really want this to make changes to your computer?" and I click "Yes" and then.... It does nothing.

Please download Firefox from this list: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ I think it will solve your problem.

Hmm, have you shut down and restarted Windows since this problem began? Sometimes the Windows installer gets a backlog of deferred updates and stops working correctly until they can be applied, which usually is done at shutdown and startup.
