Had Firefox V28.0 and upgraded to Firefox V38.0.5 Stub and from that point the Google search results had strange thin font..

I have that turned off, also i down graded now and still persist. Was ALL FINE before i updated firefox just 2 minutes ago..

Every other website looks normal... except Google search results?

Dude that cant be the driver. The graphics driver is just fine only Firefox has this no other browser. And firefox 28.0 that i have downgraded to right now has the same issue

This can be a problem with the font that is used to display the text.

You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).

You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced
  • [ ] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
