just upgraded to the newest firefox for mac 40.0 all of my user names and passwords that were saved dissappeared

yes the problem went away. i was able to see them but only in safe mode what is the solution
went back and it is working now!!! why did it do this?
It could be a file was corrupted, but later repaired. Keep an eye on it for a time.
