I'm using Firefox 41 for Linux 64 bit and I need to communicate over a proxy requiring authentication. I have to enter username and password after each start of Firefox. I found at this forum that setting of the following things in about:config would help but it does not: network.negotiate-auth.allow-proxies : false network.proxy.share_proxy_settings : false network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies : false network.auth.use : false signon.autologin.proxy : true So is there any way how to save the credentials to avoid repeated prompting for them in each new Firefox session?
